Starveiw the box?

I brought a box a while ago and all worked fine iv been putting keys in manualy for last 6 months now coz went down in april want to put new fix on my box,i dont no wat softwear was on it before as i did not do it.Wat i want to know is wat fix should i put on it and wat loader do i need to use for starveiw the box does it matter if i know wat fix was on box before?.please help as getting sick of putting keys in manualy.cheers rizlaman
ps,Iv read loads but theres so many tuts that are diffrent dont want to make mistake please could some 1 advice?

I found a fix for starveiw the box on chatterbox toolbar can i use this with v4.03 loader and the fix in same file?
I read some thing about a logo do i put this on box too?
please help with all of above rizlaman.
ps if some 1 has a link to every thing i need would realy appreciate it or if every thing i have said is correct please let me know and i will download of community toolbar (bigmaq)cheers rizlaman!

To see what version is on the box goto menu and press ok on system info

if you have 4.54e, just flash the logobg.bin file as background data (make sure you tick the correct one)
then flash 8.02e

If you have 4.51e, flash 4.54e(apply file only) then logo then 8.02e
just use v4.03 uploader for all.

Iv got version 4.50e_E boot ver:7.0,it says its from 2007 so thats how long ago it was done,wat files would i need to do this version mate?

ps if i do need background file for this version were do i get it from?

i flashed to 8.02 all worked fine for a few days then nothing cant get any channels except the normal 5 wondering can i still flash to 4.55 any help please and much appreciated

Have you tried re-flashing 8.02e?
What version did you flash from?
Did you use the logobg.bin file?

Also, have you restored factory setting and re-scanned?
