Default The end?

With the loss of Premeire etc over the past few months, do you think the day will come when these will return with the use of patches and softcams on a tm1500/5400 etc? Or will channels using Nagra 3 only be available, when the time comes, using a linux reciever? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It won't be long before something comes open on these receivers. They are still very popular, If they don't open anything they don't sell

I'm guessing that the Conax stuff on 16e and 1w will be open soon as its already available on the Diablo. It may even be the Irdeto stuff aswell that comes open

I wouldn't be too concerned at the moment in all honesty.

Theres still DigiTV on 1w so they are not totally useless yet

Thanks for the quick reply, I only used mine for the saturday football, and the italian when it was available on 19.2 C+. I am currently stuck on 19.2, but i have a motorised dish kit in the spare room waiting to go up. Hopefully the stuff on 16e, if it does open, will force me to install it. Thanks for your optimism, look forward to some good news in the future. Thanks again for the reply.

Get it setup on 1w mate, we haven't got long with DigiTV either

Theres knob all on 19.2e now

You will need an 80cm minimum for 16e at the moment

I get quite reasonable reception on a 65cm dish, but the HD channels do a lot of frame-freezing for me. Am hoping, when weather brightens up, to upgrade the dish to a 1 meter one, hopefully curing the frame freezing issue.
On standard def channels, excellent picture so far.
