jsut checking now and the SNR seems to be ok, just going up/down by 1 db. Is this what i need to watch?

agc sig level seems to have dropped from 52 to 36 though, return power also from 55 to 26.

I've replaced all the coax cables, that rf box or whatever on the end and its the same. Same goes with loose connections.

Funny thing is it was great 6 months ago.

Could well be a chip on the board then-the 4001s are a pain in the arse for probs. Not sure what the acg stands for-just trying to troubleshoot cables & the obvious. Time to go carbooting again-loo out for a 4010 or sammie-much more robust. Maybe a tecchie with electronics knowledge will know-The attached is something I had on harddrive-might be worth seeing if any blue caps are showing signs of burns? They're on the underside of board
