My motherboard went out on my laptop. Im pretty sure my hard drive is okay. My question is can I access it with another laptop? If so what connection do i need to make to do that to transfer my files to another computer?

I think there are bay adapters available quite cheaply, either to fit in a PC or to use as a USB drive.
You can pick up a bay adapter that will allow you to use the laptop hard drive in a PC for less than £10, which might be the cheaper option, unless you can get the hard drive working in another laptop, with a similar motherboard, and then tranfer the data using either a network cable or USB pen drive. |
