I have an epson R265 printer which takes six ink cartridges, it is low on most the colours and empty on one, I have put a brand new black cartridge in and selected draft print black and white, yet when I go to print it comes up buy Epson ink now, It will not print, anybody know how to get it to bypass the Epson money grabbing technique until my non Epson colours arrive

Check the internet as there should be some software utilities that will resolve the issue.
I assume you're using compatible cartridges, which I find just as good, in my HP, and cheaper, but obviously Epson want you to buy their expensive original chipped cartridges

If the ink light is flashing it will not print
you have to have ink in all six cartridges.

Can I ask, Nano, do you print photo's on your laser? Will it accept photo paper? If it's more cost effective than my inkjet I'll consider the same, but quality of photo is all important to me.
