hi,can some one please help me ive just got a eurovox blue of my friend because he,said it doesnt work,if i fix it i can have it,now this is the problem when i power the box up it says c663 on the lcd display.please help

the box is a clone mate you will need to connect it to tv with a RF cable then tune it in until you see a pin request screen
enter 1004 then do a factory reset and this should bring the box back to life
you will then have to wait for a clone friendly firmware release (could be a long wait)

Dont know if its a clone problem, maybe more the fix. Defintely froze a original blue i had for a few years so something odd going on.

you can check to see if it is a clone quite easily by looking whare the inpute cble goes,count the grill spaces if it is a clone there will be 12 spacings above the decoder.

Not true,an original will have 12 slots covering the tuner

PSU doesn't always give it away either, I have seen clone with PSU that looks like genuine one, only thing I can recommend is check the connecting cables, clones seem to have separate wires whereas genuine have ribbons or is this not the case either?

thats strange because my mates box , a eurovox max blue , stoped working and gave a code on the box 3221? not got a clue what that means ? any help would be greatfull.
