Hi Folks, I Have Got Eurovox Max (Blue), Downloaded New 30.11.08 Firmware Flashed It To The Box Put My Dump In It.... And I Unplug The Box From The Pc Take It To Tv Plug It All In, Comes Onto Standby And I Press To Turn On And 0001 Shows Wont Change Channel & Won't Show On Screen Help....

You must establish whether or not your box is an original or a clone. If it's not a clone - try flashing again...

plug in as normal, cable feed, power, but instead of using
the scart, use an aerial( analogue ) the old fashioned way of connecting them to the
television, you should use the channel search on your tele to find the box, once you have
found the box go to the menu 1004 for the code, tv settings,
MULTI,
4.3
RGB
FULL FRAME
ON
PAL B/G
40
save and exit
now unplug aerial, reattach scart and hopefully you've sussed it, sometimes when trying to set to 40 it may switch off if it does save at pal then add the scart

What makes you so sure its not a clone?

Alot of peeps have had this problem with what they thought was a genuine box......only to relise it,s a clone

You seem to be having the problem due to an installation of the new firmware. What u need to do is connect the box via the tv arial socket on the box to the arial socket on the tv and take out the scart wires from the eurovox box. scan your tv now to get the eurovox screen on yout tv. enter pin 1004. some peopl get a clear image some dont, no need to wory at his point. go to CONFIG option on menu, press the right button 3 times. then go down to CLEAR DATA option (press down button twice). put pin 1004 again. Pick the second option Factory default. This will now rest your box. You n0w need to install an older firmware update, prefably the ones from Aprill. Now u can connect ur box the old way via the scart plugs.

Forgot to mention that once the above procedure is done, u need to update the key codes from the bigmaq toolbar or tcb toobar.

Firstly I would say my genuine Blue has been happily showing and updating as needed using new firmware so don't be put off real folks. As said above, reflash back to last one that worked, with factory reset. Try again or learn to love codes
