Hi everyone,
I have just bought an NTL box PACE DI 4010-N from a mate of mine, this box has/had a working NTL card which was programmed with the IRD and BK. However, according to him, since he moved out from an NTL area he never used the box again, I believe this was about 14 months ago.
So, is it just a question of powering up the box and let it tune, or is it more involving?
My mate said that if I did then I might get the card locked which would require unlooping once again but he wasn't 100% sure.
Could you Please advise on what I should do, I would very much appreciate it.

The card is an NTL card, I believe it's a ROM 11, according to the info I got from my mate.

you could just make a fun card m8 if you know the bk and ird eh look about its coverd alot im sure thats if it gets locked up eh

u need to get the BK and IRD, if u have them then u have got nothing to lose just plug the box without the card let it tune and once u get the FTA channels put the card in and see, u might get lucky.

PS: if u dont have the Bk look for a proggy called "boxgetpc2" to get ur BK otherwise u gana have to JTAG it which u may wana avoid it as much as possible.
