you should really switch from ambit firmware to haxorware, it saves alot of trouble.

the latest version is available from sbhacker.net, which is where the firmware was made.

you need to flash the correct version for your area.

ex c&w - edocsis
rest = docsis.

once you have done that, you will have a nice GUI at 192.168.100.1 where you can change macs/configs etc.

think i have bricked the modem plugged it in today and i cant connect using 250 configuration tool it says unable to conect 192.bla bla!

cos i didn't change the pass and user name when virmin did thr hits and on the 192 page in internet explorer it says access denied and its not connected etc?

anyway i can get this back online with out making it complicated

see whats happened in hyper if you have 232 cable
