Modem Stopped Working 10 Dec 08

Good info in this thread, finally got my Modem working, just needed to remove the tftp IP completely from my settings it was that simple! I'm still able to force 20meg connection with a 2meg MAC also in West Midlands area(Solihull to be exact).

can you plz tell me which software you are using (ambit config tool ? ) and what config file (settings) you are forcing it to because im unable to get it to work

Autoserve Enabled - Unticked
Stored cfg/store new config - no need to do anything here.
Baseline Privacy:
BPI - Disabled
Certificate - BPI Public Key
All the rest in the Baseline privacy section will not be touched.
And that is that, that should be everything done and you should now be able to get online.

Guys I tried this in my modem and cannot now get back into 192.168.100.1 and no net !

can anyone help or advise please of how to get back into settings Ambit with cm-20480-768 on

why did you disable dhcp server ?
if you disable dhcp server then you cant access the configuration page if the modem is offline, unless you set a static ip of 192.168.100.10 netmask 255.255.255.0 on your computer, then you can access the configuration page again
