DHCP Sniffer Quick guide.

Put a mac in the box in this format 11:22:33:44:55:66 & press Discover
you can put a mac in it from any UBR it dont matter but the most recent the mac the better,
the macs it comes back with YOU CAN USE ON YOUR UBR but obviously some will have a mac conflict
but every-one ive tryed up to now have worked with no problems
its only in beta and the next release should kick arse...

it scans your TFTP server for macs not like dhcp force which listens for packets.




**** IMPORTANT ****

ohhh and DONT BRUTEFORCE it to often as it will ring alarm bells,
also dont leave it on all the time as this will also ring alarms bells.
just use it as you need macs thats all.


PS ... you dont even have to input a mac if you just leave it open it will still bring you macs that you can use on your UBR

you have to have the microsoft runtime files

I can't do that since I'm at Work at the moment

Also would this program get you MACs if you have no internet connection > but you have your modem connected to the feed ?

so when I open this program up (keep in mind I still don't know what this program looks like) > I will get a field and in that field I need to write a MAC address in this format > { 11:22:33:44:55:66 } and click Discover ?

Or can I leave the MAC field empty and click Discover ?

Sorry to be asking to many questions, I just want it crystal clear before I go home and try, my internet has been off for 2 days > and my home/pc/life is boring without internet lol

ok you open the sniffer...first thing to do. there is a arrow next to discover, tick that ,then you tick bruteforce,,,,then there is a arrow next to save click that, then tick includ bootfile,,,just let it run, pick up a mac 20 meg if you can, click on the mac then press dicover, and let it run, dont press discover to many times
