ber sky high! no channels

My box was working perfectly before latest hits.
Now all of a sudden cant get any channels and the ber is sky high
Nokia dbox2, I am running blade quad img 2x
i have set location, tried different image, reloaded image etc still no good
When i scan for channels no transponder found!!
Cant even get FTA!
Have checked and double checked all connections
Any ideas

yes have tried all methods of scanning
is my tuner shagged been as BER Is so high??
These bdox tuners are not the greatest from my limited experience with them

if you still have the older image you had try that see if it works on fta chnls if not it sounds like hardware fault

Mate when did your box go off, was it just yesterday?

mate phoned me up last night around same time as this post, said he was watching a channel and the box automatically went into standby, whenever he started it back up, all channels gone and the date on the box is showing as 01/01/1970.

is his boxed screwed or anyone any idea, or is it similar to any problem spark is having. I aint got box at hand so unable to check anything else atm
