dead eurovox 2

Hi, any one know about eurovox 2? I jtagged to blue and whilst flashing it stopped so I unplugged the mains to reset. it went dead, has not lit up since. Any solutions would be greatly accepted.

No sign of any power, it is getting to the box, have changed power lead no spare box to swap bits. I am lost.

have a look at the caps on the power supply board, I have fixed a few of them now, not sure on this board but look for cap c14, if you look at the top of the cap, if it has blown it will be slightly bulging at the top, look at the other caps they willhave a flat top,but if one has blown it will be bevelled, get a new one from maplins they are about 70p, simplesoldering job to replace, you wont get the exact same voltage, but a little higher wont matter.

ok if u jtagged it to blue do u mean when u were trying to put the blue firmware not tsop on it that it went dead try to connect it up again with jtag, did u jtag it properly though using the right tsop file. if this doesnt work then u can check circuit for c14 as mentioned or just send it to honcho who is offering u help .

Thanks to all, I have managed to get the standby light on red, so power is getting to the main board. Need to try with Jtag and firmware again, will let you know the result.

i have eurovox2 cant get it powerd up checked fuse but its ok just keep getting green lights coming and going nothing els any advice welcome

as above m8 try all that or send it to me for jtaged to turn it to euro blue
if you get no where
