The last discussion I found on this subject is from 2007 so I thought I would check for updates.
I am a new Sat user. I would like to have a wireless option for a second TV. I am currently using a Wavecom that was recommended. It operates on 2.4Gz. When it works it is acceptable.. Unfortunately there seems to be a number of things that interfer with it. I have identified my laptop bluetooth but can not find the other sources, which may also be from a neighbor. I have read in the 2007 discussion that wireless networks also operate on 2.4 and might be the problem. I have one but it doesn't seem to be it. The ideal of course is to run a cable but the construction makes that a bigger project then I would like. The main question is, with technology changing as fast as it does, has anyone found an extended that overcomes this problem, perhaps operates on a different frequency? Thanks in advance for the feedback. |
