Right i got a DITV 2000 with paired card as some of you may no. And need to cut talkback so i thought it was a simple lid off and there we go. That was not the case and those bloody tamper proof screws are a pain with nose pliers :P
So i ordered a T10 tamper proof screwdriver from eBay for £3.60 inc. P+P. Right so then i was looking for where to distinguish where to cut talkback on the images i found. Ends up that its in the CM tuner that i need to cut. So does this mean i need to take out the whole motherboard and dismantaling the tuner from there? Also how would i go about opening the tuner it self. Thanks |

Looks like a right pain but really its quite simple. Once inside the box, remove the nut from the outside of the tuner that holds it to the case. Then there is one small silver screw at the tuner that holds it to the base.
Remove these two and the tuner will then just push out. Might be a bit stiff but will come off in the end

Oh and opening the tuner its self is simple. There is a small piece of metal bent over in the midddle of one side. Just bend this straight with a pair of pliers so its out of the way and the side will pull off.
