Exclamation Technomate 5400..any good???

Dear all!! I am intending to purchase a Technomate 5400 with the idea of viewing English Premier League matches on foreign channels. Before i rush in can you please advise if this would be a good purchase for this purpose??

Also on e-bay a number of the boxes are advertised as being patched- what does this mean and would i be best to get one that is patched. Also how do you make use of the USB port on that is advertised on these boxes?

Also would it be advisable to get a diablo cam as well- will this increase my footy options?

Thanks,

Trev

There are very few channels available at the moment through patches. Although I am fairly content with DigiTv on 1W, which is open for the time being.

The diablo opens a few more channels on 1w with conax encryption. For further details of what the diablo opens check the thread you started here - What cam!!!!! or the one you started here - footy on sat-need advice!!!! .

This is all that is available at the time being. No-one knows for how long.

To find out what channels are available on these channels look here - www.liveonsat.com.

No matter how many times you ask the question, I am afraid the answer will always be the same.
