Question V+

Ive ordered V+ box with the XL package they will install it on the 23rd i will cancel it within 28 days so i get my money back and don't get into a contract if they don't take my box back (most of the time they don't bother round my end) would i be able to chip the box?

Yes and no,
Yes if they dont send a deactivation hit to the box (very unlikely)
No as they will send a deactivation hit to the box and because of the cost of the box they will collect it,
You would also need an unlooper to get into the card, then a phoenix programmer to read the card, and then you may find that the boxkey isnt correct because of the deactivation hit,
Your best bet is not to be so tight and pay them a minimum subscription for the box you have, then get a second box and mod that one,if you disconect you services from them they will most likely cut the feed in the cab in the street, where the V+ is concerned they dont leave them ones out there especially after 28 days, not only that but i would check re the contract you enter into a 12mth contract with them and cancelling within that period leaves you liable for the remainder of 11mths payments.
Just pay minimum subs and mod a second box, that way if anything goes down or goes wrong youve got a backup box to use and you can phone them if theres any problems,if you dont subscribe and they pull the feed your screwed,if the cable breaks down or theres an issue you canot phone them if you dont pay for anything,

Can I not disconect the box before I cancele sub so I don't get deactivation hit wait few weeks then start messing with the box if they come for it il say I binned the box it's no use to me did that with 3 of their cable modems never came to pick it up

You could disconnect it BUT as i say they will collect due to the value of the box,if not then they will bill you for the box, either way you will get charged, they dont muck around with the v+ boxes like they used to the old ones, with a bb sub they wont cut you off but will find it funny that you have taken the v+ service for a month then cancelled and no box, just be careful.
