Default Equipment Advice

Hi all,

Looking for some equipment advice. I am thinking about buying a 88cm dish which comes complete with 4 lnbs and deseq switch. Along with a Technomate 5600 reciever.

I would like to recieve Sky at 28deg and plung that LNB into my sky box and then get 19deg and 13deg plus someting else on the technomate.

Is this possible with the equipment, (blackburn, lancs area). I am moving and can't take the sky dish and only want to setup one dish at my new house.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a setup guide to do this as I have never done anything but re-align a sky dish by trial and error.

Any suggestions as to what to point the 4th lnb at appriciated to.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Rick

I don't know of a guide on that. But have done what you would like a few times now.

Get a Triax TD88 and multiblock.

Swivel the multiblock bracket so that it is lower on the right hand side (viewed from dish face). Stick the 19E lnb right of centre. Move the dish to maximise the signal from the 19E LNB.

Then 13E to the right of that, 28E, on the left hand side near the end.

After a bit of tweaking up, (LNB skews, position along bar, position up/down/in out,) you should get a good signal on those 3 LNBs very well.

Heres one that I was working on in my back garden.

Been looking for equipment and come accross a technomate 5600 reciever.

The details say that it is patched.

* THIS RECEIVER ALLREADY BUILT IN MOST POPULAR FIVE CAMS WHICH VIACCESS 2 , CONEX ,ASTONSECA,CRYPTOWORKS, IRDETO,
(NORMALY IF YOU BUY THIS CARDS SEPERATLY IT WILL COST YOU MORE THAN £200 !

WITH THIS PATCHED RECEIVER YOU CAN UNLOCK CHANNELS ON ASTRA19.2E, HOTBIRD, HISPASAT AND MANY MORE SATELLITES.

PLUS WATCH CHANNELS LIKE PREMIERE, CYFROWY, POLSAT, DIGI TV, TPS MULTIVISION 1-8, TPS CINESTAR, TPS HOME CINEMA, TPS CINÉTOILE, TPS STAR,TPS CINECULTE, TPS CINEXTREME, TPS CINEFAMILY, TPS CINÉCOMEDY, TPS FOOT, TPS CINÉCLUB, EUROSPORT, CARTOON NETWORK, PLAYBOY, XXL, TV CABO, CINE5 AND HUNDREDS MORE.

VIEW CHANNELS FROM EUROPE , MIDDLE EAST AND ASIA WITHOUT CAM OR CARD.

Sounds too good to be true, but not being one to look a gift horse in the mouth, thought I'd ask the experts. Is something like this worth getting? Or am I better off getting a cheaper FTA reciever.

Thanks analoguesat. Thought it sounded to good to be true.
Glad I didn't waste my money.

Is there FTA programs in english or with subtitles ignoring the obvious 28.2 stuff ?
