has auto update been done again

hi , does anyone know if vm have done the auto update fix again , i just rescanned a starview 3 which i put the fix on and it did not find the key codes yet it was updating fine before . i was just wondering if they are going to hit the boxes in the near future ( when footie is on) with a key roll and we are all back to square one or am i missing something else.

my box is still working fine

and just flashed a friends starview 2 and tested it and that worked fine

why did you rescan if it was working fine before?

i don't have a starview 3 i have the misfortune of owning "the box pvr" so i don't know exactly how they work ? i can only go off my model !
did you do a factory reset befor scan ? if its like mine youl have to turn emu back on again , might be something like that?

If it was updating fine before, the stb must have already been flashed with the latest fw (or do you mean it hasn't gone off for a while)

and why re-scan if it was ok?

have you turned emu on... menu 1570 ?

i did factory reset and re-scanned to get setanta sports etc back and emu is switched on , but when you go into nagravision there are no keys , just ffffff where any numbers should be , i even re flashed it to check it was`nt a bad flash , but still no joy. like i say it was updating ok and i have put the firmware on other boxes that are running fine even after rescanning to get setanta back.i just wanted to know if anyone can shed any light on what the problem might be , thanks.

press menu, 1570 and press set default codes. that should sort your problem.
