Can anybody out there tell me what i have to do to get my box back into action, i dont have the first idea of what i should do.....

As none of us are mind readers we need more info!

Sat box?, cable box? Make? Model?

Whats happened to it? No point us guessing - it could be anything from someone stuck a biscuit in the card slot to a cup of tea got dropped on it.

At a guess its a cable box as you have posted in a totally inappropriate section, the mark of a cable box operator.

As we are in the wrong section and off topic, I thought I'd have a go.

Is there a way in the user cp to add certain sections of the forum to ignore? I'd like to ignore the cable section when I click new posts so I don't have to skip half the posts every time.
