Default Can I get VM to take my V+ Box back?

I got a V+ Box from VM and was warned not to touch it so I purchased another one which is fine. I wanted to know if I can send my original V+ box back to VM and get my £75 back. I telephoned and asked but spoke to some foreign woman who said no you have entered into a contract surely there is a time frame to these things like everything else if you are not happy?

If its within the 1st 14 days, you can send it back.

As I was able to do that.

I just gave them a call now as I had the box on Dec 1st so it is 13 days already, I have to phone the retentions team on monday but he stated if I send the box back I would not have another box as I gave the engineer who called out to install the V+ my old box, Surely they should either give me my old box back or just a basic box as there is no installation charge for that is there just with the v+?

Considering you do not ever own a VM box - only hiring it from them then they are obliged to repair or replace the box.
That is why you do not get a call out and repair charge when they come to your house.
With S*Y you own the box and so you get charged a call out and repair fee.
