Default Modem not working!

Hi ,
I've configured my ambit 250 through hyper terminal. I've plugged the modem on all I am getting is the power light on and the ethernet light. Also the the "ready" light flashes every 2/3 secs. I'm stuck any ideas lads?

If you don't know the username and password to connect to the modem via telnet you can connect via serial using the max232 hardware.

The default user/password is admin infinite. if its not then see if its written on the bottom of the modem, else contact the person you got it from.
Otherwise its max232 serial connection/reflash only im afraid as far as I know.

Double and triple check you're using/spelling user and pass correctly.
I spent the last 2 days trying to reconnect to one of my modems.
It turned out I was misspelling the password, even though I could have sworn I was entering it correctly! pmsl
