i put haxor over infinite - did i brick it ambit 255

morning all,

Think i bricked my 1st ambit today, i put haxor over the top of infinite and i think I've now bricked it, i got to the option where it said wish to store parameters and i bloody pressed no didn't i, and then at the end of it i got to the haxor page, restarted and the sync and send light flashes and then just the enet light stays on ( not connected to cable of course)

I can't jtag it and can't get into the console are any thing.

it has a strange ip address 169.254.XX.110

Edit: guys i plugged it into the other pc that i use for this and i have opened up hyper terminal and i'm actually at the p option......sync light is flashing.....what shall i do?

Try and re-install haxor and make sure i follow the instructions again? or do i need to softjtag it back to the original 1st.

use the full 2mb dump if flashing over infinite.

also, when going into the internal webpage of haxorware, get your nic ip to 192.168.100.10

thanks buddy so you think i should close down hyper terminal and try and get softjtag to work?

i couldn't get it to connect last night, i have the 2 meg dump and i've done a few with it, but as i say i didn't do it with this modem last night, (was drunk - note to self don't hack and drink)

You didn't brick it mate , if you did only the power light would come on and nothing else and it wouldnt connect to PC.

well it's back...cool.

I just used jtag and done the bin flash original and then used the p option and put haxor on...nice one
