Can't seem to do a channel scan - Techwatch Support Forums: Digital & Satellite TV, FTA, Cable, Computers, Mobile Phones, Apple and General Tech Forums

Hi, I hope someone can help. I have a d-box with sportster image in the Glasgow area and recently lost setanta, celtic tv, rangers tv etc.

I searched the forums and can see that the frequency may have changed and it is advisable to do a channel scan.

The problem I have is when I do a fast scan it finished within a couple of secs. saying "Transponder scan finished successfully". I read that it should take quite a few minutes normally.

When I take off fast scan and try, I left it running overnight and it had still not finished. I don't think either of these scans are working but I don't know how else to scan for new channels.

had same, try new image m8, and dont forget nagrrom7 after, i used lincsat fullish no prob but nothing is certain with the vaguaries of the DBox

why do you have to change the nagrarom7 file as the new fulish img has the fixes already?

hey gazza.. there are numerous posts with how to flash and where to get images and roms etc.

asking is easy... reading and researching is fun....

i had to learn and wasnt given it on a plate and hey its better to learn oneself anyway. then you have the knowledge...

but i do find it annoying that people dont do anything but ask ... bit disrespectful of them i think!!
