Cable modems

Anyone in the section of the forum know anything about cable modems?! I have an Ambit 200 and I want to do something with it!

I have lived in the Eurovox section for a while now and know things inside out and was wondering if anyone I have 'met' in this section wants to give me a hand....
I know nothing about Modems and dont really have a lot of time to learn.. but i have a bit of cash in my pocket for anyone scratching my back...!

Didnt want to post this in the Modem section and get bombarded with ppl who dont want to help me because i 'Cant be bothered to learn' - I can be bothered to learn but I dont have the time...

I agree don't post asking for this kind of help when its already posted for you, but you already did post asking for that kind of help and in the WRONG section....Nice.

hey... i know but the key point was I havent got time to read stickys and mess about and was wondering if anyone i'd helped in the past who had more time on their hands could help me get to my goal quicker!!!

Kinda like a guy who couldnt sort his eurovox box out a fw months ago cos he had too much going on so I sorted his box out for him without him ever having to read anything.. and I only knew him off here!!

Note to others - If all u want to add is "Go read the stickys" then ur not helping me...! lol...! dont make the thread a conversation or longer than it should be...! If no one replies then i'll assume u dont want to help.. u dont have to come in and type NO...!

Sorry but I find it hard to believe you do not have time to read a small-and-to-the-point tutorial that will give you EVERYTHING you're asking for, but have the time to think up a 'witty' retort and post it! In less time you could have download/searched the tutorial and know all that you need to start to flash your first modem!

I think you're wasting your own tme, which is probably where this 'delusion' of not having the time to help yourself comes from.

Honcho and mrcrisp - i know ur helping and im not trying to be witty and i openly admit there is a slight case of laziness.. but i thought someone might want to help me get my ambit 200 sorted.. I have read through the user guides and stickys and everything else and i get lost in all the jargon so i decided to ask someone to do it for me so i can then look to see what they've done... maybe even watch! but its diff doing that over the net. we all learn in different ways....! Maybe someone will be nice enough to help me out.. if not then im stuck.. and then i HAVE to go out and buy the cables!

well basicly yer modem is off because the person woas mac wqas cloned is well ho2w can i put it CUT OFF or left vermin so u need to clone another
