R4DS Revolution for DS guide

OK here we go this is very easy to do,



1, you going to need a R4DS card google and you will find
R4 DS Revolution V2 - Clickshop.Com

2, you will need a micro SD card 1gig or 2gig

3, now we need the firmware this can be found here
down load it and copy the 4 files to your micro SD card
the files you need to copy are called

_system_
moonshl
_DS_MENU
_DS_MSHL.nds
copy them to the root of the card

4, i like to keep things in order so i then make a folder called games
this too is in the root of the micro SD card and i put all the Roms in there
it really is as easy as that,

5, ok next put the SD card into your R4DS card

6, yes you got it right the R4DS card then goes in the nds slot at the top.

WoOt a nice home brew nds
of course we would never use this for illegal games

Have you brought 1 from here and were do i get filmwear from?are they real coz dont want to download filmwear put on card and it turns out o be fake.

If you want a card that is definitely not fake then avoid R4 and NDSTT. R4 cards are no longer made so they are all clones. The problem really is that almost all the cards available are clones of some other card really. The Cyclo DS card is the only one I know of that is not a clone but they are very expensive in comparison.

The DSTT card I linked to above is currently supposed to be real not fake but it doesn't actually seem to matter much as they all work fine with all firmwares. I have bought loads of DSTTs from dealextreme and they all work fine regardless of whether they are real or fakes.

And for $6.63 including postage - Who cares? Its less than 5 euro or £4.50.

Ok i got my card and downloaded DSTT Firmware v1.16 . What do i do next drag the lot onto the memory

As OP says in point 3, drag or copy to root of the memory card. Firmware will be different for the DSTT but the principle's the same. Add backup games in *.nds format & you're good to go.

In the root of the memory card should be a TTMenu folder and a TTMenu.dat file. If you extract the zip you should get an Eng folder. Copy its contents to the root of the card.

Also I keep all my games in folders so I can keep track of saved game files. The DSTT card finds games within folders for you so you don't need to browse for them.
