Im buying t&K brackets from ebay and just wondering what size brackets I would need foe a 80cm dish?
I believe the options are 24' 18' 12' would a 24' provide a better arc due to more clearacne from the wall? |

![]() Which with an 80cm dish means 40cm, which equates to just under 16", so the 18" should suffice. Don't forget, you usually have some extra clearance due to the motor, at least you do with a diseqc, depending on where due south is from your location. With mine I have an additional 3" clearance due to the motor mount position. |

Since we already know the dish size, it depens entirely on the orientation of the wall you are mounting it on.
Make sure you get the galvanisd ones, don't bother with the painted ones.

I use a free resizer it do's them in bulk.
It is called at32 from _www.at32.com I have used it for years with no problems. Edit My 88cm dish is on 12'' t&k's it is on a motor. it clears the wall by about 2''. A bigger dish would need bigger brackets.

I used 24" T & Ks with my old 80cm dish, mostly because they were free (Half inched them from work
) and also because it allowed me the option to upgrade to a bigger dish, which i can guarantee you will once you get the bug ![]() ![]() Nano
