Ok here goes. I have installed a splitter upstairs to split the connection to a normal samsung box supplied by VM and two eurovoxes.
The problem is that the Samsung box will only give me the free channels even though I get all paid channels on the downstairs box and on entering the Diag menu it shows as the Signal to Noise Ratio being too high. My question is this, I have a booster and I was wondering if installing that to the incoming feed would help solve this problem? I only ask as I know very little when it comes to attenuation, SNR etc Here is how my feed is setup Main feed into the house ----->White box in living room ----->1 feed to Downstairs V+ box From the white box ------1 feed to the upstairs bedroom. Upstairs feed is split into 3 -------Goes to normal box and 2x eurovox boxes. Hopefully someone can help me out with this. I did phone them and they said they sent the signal and it was received by the box ok. While on the phone, I disconnected the other boxes so as not to confuse the issue and make sure the signal was received ok. Please help. |
