no they can be done but you need new stuff,, thought i was loosing it then

you need Ambit256 SPI Serial Flash

thread closed seen all the stuff that i need to regarding the 256's and there going back to where they came from.

you can only change macs on the 256s, no custom firmwares and no real protection (disable snmp etc)

not a good modem to mod.
