You could try 'A-squared free' from Emsi. I haven't had to try it on this particular piece of malware, but I've used it successfully in the past to remove persistent fake AS adware like WiniFixer, WindowsAV and other zlob trojan infections from a relative's PC without having to do a manual removal. It's best to switch off system restore before running any removal tool, AS, or AV, if you know you have an infection. Google the objects detected before deleting, just to make sure that there aren't any f/ps included in the list.
A-squared has a very good detection rate, and although removal rates aren't necessarily the same, if an AS program can't detect something in the first place, it's not going to remove it either.

Can someone out there please help me out. I have this on my downstairs PC and the 'A-squared free' hasn't sorted it. I also tried the Anti-Malware from malwarebytes.org but the PC won't open it. I even put it on disc from my laptop but it won't open because of the virus (stopping it from opening). Does anyone out there know what will get rid of it? Thanks

you should do a scan here Trend Micro HouseCall - Free Online Virus and Spyware Scan - Trend Micro USA

as for malwarebytes not opening. start the pc in safe mode by tapping F8 on boot up. then try open it.

btw i had that copy-book and FakeAlert loading in my browser... Spyware Terminator removed it

One easy thing you can try is to rename the MBAM executable to something random. This can allow it to open if the blocking malware isn't very sophisticated.
In the case of one WinFixer infection I managed to find its program files and delete them, which then allowed me to install and run an AS to clean the registry.
