Hi all

I have a new starview 4 and it keeps loosing the picture ( goes completely black ) but the sound stays on ??
The picture comes back if you switch the bx off/ on , but then the picture goes again a short time later
This happens to every channel ..
Cant find whats up and was wondering if anyone else has this issue

have you tried re-flashing it?

not sure on this one tbh, doesn't sound like a scart problem.....have you done a search??

Ive tried to search , but had no results!
I know its not scart related, as when i reset the box, the picture comes back.
Have done fact reset, but no cure.
Tbh, i cant find anything wrong!!
This only happens when i change over chans after whatchin one for a while .
If left on the same chan it stays perfect till when you later change over.
Then all the pictures are black with the sound correct for each chan..
It seems to be failing at the chan changing proccess.
Wierd one this..

I had that problem when they were doing the key rolls before the fix came out for mine.
before the keymaster was updated to the new keys I put all 3 c&w, n*l and telepest old keys in and it would let me watch whatever channel I was on when I pressed menu 1750
but when I tried changing channels it went blank and then wouldn't have a picture on my original channel lol

Anyway, enough of the babble, I'd try re-flashing it, maybe from a different source.
