does anyone know if TV senders are affected by wireless connections

depends on the frequency the tv sender isusing. most use the .4ghz range so could be, yeah. try changing the channel the wireless network uses or the channel the video sender uses if you have trouble. they should be able to co exist

Most are affected by wifi,microwaves.

Yeah I'd splash out on the 8.something Ghz ones or just put a cable in. Obviously there will be budget and/or cable routing circumstances.

In my experience, the 2.4Ghz ones a) dont work and b) knock out the wireless at the same time.
But when you turn off the wireless they are great, mind you, it isnt ideal.

The one i have has 4 channels, on one of them i pick up sky from next door
