But what speed line do you have? And is that for all games or just heavily seeded ones?

In my experience torrents can be a bit hit and miss - don't get me wrong - I DO use torrents as well, but only when they are heavily seeded.

Of course the other benefit to newsgroups is that they don't usually get traffic shaped by ISPs the same way that P2P traffic can.

i got 20mb line, and thats for newly released games with loads of seeders. but only on private torrent sites. and yes you do get traffic management which can suck.

I'm only on a paltry 8mb circuit, which to be honest most of the time doesn't actually sustain much above 6mb.

You can probably see why i'm quite happy to be getting 700kbps down on a line like that?

But yeah, some torrents can be pretty good. I find those hosted on ratio sites (such as ilovetorrents.com) work best as people have more inclination to seed if they know they'll get banned if they don't.

well there are programs such as ratio master you can use to pretend to be seeding back,

For all the hassle it will give you, you may as well just upload torrents as well as download them lol.

hi peole read your post .i can do you games for 3 quid a game.if u want a list .i can write 1 out.all on aone disk,my latest game ifs fifa 10 ..all stealth patched....im waiting on discs coming .if intrested give me a tinkle.can send them down to you

People don't normally "give" invites out. The expect an invite for a decent site in return, mainly because certain sites charge you to sign up.
