Can't read MOSC as getting errors help!

Hi Everyone

I was wondering if somebody could please help me out as I have an original NTL smart card that I want to mod for a Samsung 2110c box as I have been told that MOSC are better. But I have had trouble with reading the smart card with nagra edit software version 4.1 and using the infinity USB unlimited card programmer with software version 2.61. I have already unlocked this smart card using the TMC T911 unlooper with success. I have VCP mode enabled and the frequency set as 3.680 MHz and all the COM ports is set correctly. I have nagra edit running in Win98 / ME compatibility mode so I don’t know what I could be doing wrong. I just receive the following message below while am trying to read the smart card with nagra edit 4.1

If anybody can help me out why this smart card is not successfully reading I would appreciate it thanks.

If you can help! Please explain to me in detail on how to fix this problem as I am only a new learner and don’t have much knowledge on how to do other stuff thanks.

it happens to me sometimes i just read it several times if still no joy disconnect the reader and reconnect and try again allways works for me m8

do you have the ird and bk codes already? Has the card been programmed before?

im guessing you have another card with your details on as you say you want to mod a mosc as they are better if so just mrom your card and re write

my guess your using vcp with infinity phoenix

dump the card with xcns, to get details

looks like you need to use t911 to unlock this card,as it states bod in the script return,returning bod and not bo9 as it should if it was already unlocked..

A b0d revision will remain a b0d revision untill an image other than a b0d is writen to the card.


ie. glitch a b0d it will read as a b0d but the bugcatcher table will be set to 00, not 34, 40, 52 etc, like they are when streamlocked.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for your replys. I have got the BK & IRD keys and the card has already been unlocked with a T911 unlooper. I have reattempted to read this card lots of times but still no success. I have reset the card with MROM and repaired it with diffrent delays with no success. Any more help would be appreciated thanks.

P.S. Please explain in detail on how to use programs and etc. As I am only a new learner thanks.
