Hello there, This is my first post and as a techie freak, since I love technology and gadgets, I am happy to be here. I live in the Unites States (Florida) So was just worried if the modem testing here wouldn't work for me since I see that the URL here says "UK" if not, I guess I'll be happy with just learning the basics for now and perhaps someone can guide me in the right direction of what to program for my location if necessary. Well, since I am interested in learning from scratch on programming a cable modem, was interested in the scientific atlanta 2100 and I have a comcast cable line free to use, and know where to buy the modems on ebay, was wondering what's the first step to take, like what readings from this forum are the first recommended, and then I can take it from there. I'm not a newbie in dss modding, so more or less I just need a little kick to get in the right direction. Thanks for any help and wish everyone a good day.
