V+ Card Pairing????

I Have 2 v+ boxes looking to modify 1 silver and 1 black ( if it makes a difference?) how would i tell if the cards in the boxes are paired?
I have entered the diagnostic menu on both boxes ( not connected to live feed ) and on card status it shows no t-stream.

Any help would be greatly appricated

You are getting no T-Stream because the cable feed isn't in. You need to connect the cable feed and then boot into the engineer's menu.

thanks for the help blakey , both boxes show never been paired , so i have a pair of door stops.

Dont do this, you are risking getting false details sent to the cards. NEVER connect box to feed with the card in untill you have the details(BK) from it... If card status shows no t-stream or waiting ect then you just have hope for the best

as roco said never do that ....go to page 8 pop your card in if it says smart card inserted you got a good 1 as far as ican remember all sa show no t stream even when feed is in not 100 percent on that
