Question The Box/The Box Super Confusion !!!

Hi
I have 2 boxes that I want to flash with the latest firmware from Chatterbox. I have a Starview "the box" and a Starview "the box super". I presume (and please correct me if I am wrong ) that I need Starview 2 for "the box" and Starview 3 for "the box super". What next ? I have updated firmware several times on Eurovox but never a Starview. The Starview 3 software has a large "download" button and is preselcted with "app only". I presume that is imply hit this button. The Starview 2 software however has several options including "STB Model" and at the bottom it gives me the oprion of "app only" or "boot file" or "boot and app merged". Not sure which one to take and am doing it for a friend so do not want to brock the box completely for them. Any help on Starviews greatly appreciated..

connect your box to the PC with null modem cable
first save a Channel Data file (you can download this back to box to save you having to scan)

connect your box to PC
run the loader 4,03
select Channel Data file
click on Upload
name the file and save it
to load it back to your box run Loader and select Channel Data File
click on BIN FILE and select the file you saved
click on download to load it back to your box
if you are going to do a full scan you can miss the above part out

to load firmware, run the loader 4.03
select App File Only
click on BIN FILE
browse to and select the latest .bin file and click open
this loads the file to the Loader
press the Download button to load to your box
