Default Box works fine but can't find anything when scanning

Hi, I've a Nokia with Blade Quad that is auto updating fine with the ROM7 fix but can't find anything at all when scanning. I've searched the forum and also followed advice from replies when I asked in March but can't find anything. I'd decided just to live with it, but with Setanta moving and S*y channels coming back want to get it fixed.

I've set my location, and have tried scanning without the splitter but nothing, I also read that changing ucodes may help so I tried on all of them but that didn't help.

When I scan I use the following selection;
All services
leave current bouquet
All UK scanning
Scan mode:complete
NetID: 00001
Section scan:Off

It then starts the scan but comes with an error message saying no channels were found. The same thing has happened with two images now but when I first had it and used Sportster it scanned fine.

Am I being stupid and missing something very obvious or could there be something up with my box. If anyone could help I'd be grateful. Thanks

Hi

Thats your netid right, check if symb is correct for your area, I have found on some boxes if thats not correct it wont scan, just check that not 100% though.

If that dont work and you seem to have tried the other things then maybe if you ftp your services and bouquets should help although it might not have setanta unless you can get an up to date services from someone in your area.

Thanks for reply. From what I've been able to find out the Netid is correct, unless it has changed recently. I think FTP might be the only way to go.

you can ask if someone from your area has an updated services file that they can send to you, then just ftp it

I've had it for about 2 years now and have had problems scanning since the changes earlier in the year (March?)
