Has anyone every tried to update their euro-vox max v using usb?
My box will not update using usb, keeps saying waiting for response of your receiver.
Any ideas guys?

IT WILL UPDATE IF I DO NOT USE USB APARTER CABLE!!
I am current using windows XP.

I got the USB APARTER CABLE so I could update my box using usb.

check the settings in device manager

ie com port

The problem is not the cable or the box put the serial to usb driver on your computer.
firstly go to your device manager and click the plus sign on 'ports (com & LPT1)' on the serial to usb, it will be in brackets what port it is using (mine was com8) Now go into port settings and click 'advanced' and change the COM port number to 4. Now run the application to update your firmware on the Eurovox.
