there is a way of copying/backing up your entire image, so if the box your flashing is the same as yours as in a 2x or 1x then you can copy your image , ftp that out of your tmp folder and use that with say ifa to flash your mates box.
of course you can ftp your bouquets and servcies into his box,, no need to delete his just overwrite them. but wouldnt it be fun to elarn how to back up your image as it is now to flash to your mates box? heres how its done : go too scan area on dbox and choose image backup/upgrade (or very similar) choose expert funtions then read whole image. that will make a copy of yur image in the tmp folder... ftp that out and flash it to a similar box (same chips).. that will do it.. or just save that image for back up purposes. hope this helps just thought you might want to elarn something new and the other forum visitors can try the same method for the fun. regards dave ps some settings might be different than your settings so use a bit of trial and error. |

be careful with that software.. i tested it a couple of times and it failed and failed converting over and over again. so in the end i manually created my own 1x image as some of the forum memebers know. anyway to cut a long story short, if you try the image works test the image first lol.. as ive had little luck with the software itself. just my two pence worth.. regards dave |
