Hey guys,
Won't take up too much of your time. Just a few days ago my hacked modem stopped working. Obviously done my reading and found out the TFTP IP had changed, so naturally I tried changing the TFTP IP. Couldn't get online. A bit more reading said that you can no longer force configs (although some still can!) so tried a different mac which I have used before that is already 20mb not forcing config. Still couldn't get online. Just wondering if anyone can help me out? Cheers PS. I am using infinite firmware, and I am ex tw and the TFTP address was uddingston before the chnage. |

After some poking around, I eventually got online by unchecking both the force config option and the cm_annex fix. So what does this mean? Does that mean that the new TFTP no longer accepts forced configs?
If so, is there a way around this at all? Eg, an alternative TFTP address? Or whatever? What can I do? (and thanks for the replies folks )

come on ricey a simple search or reading would give you this,,try the new tftp, open ambitconfig, click get mac/test link, then tick override tftp cfg, you have tftp filname,cmreg-ntlhm250-bund03.cm and above that you have fftp server ip, now click that and enter your new tftp ip,then press apply

I've had to untick the force config, input the new TFTP IP 10.137.103.3 then reboot modem. If you go into the config page 192.168.100.1 you will see what config that MAC is in connection tab. I then reconnect and force MAC and for most i've tried they do force again.

I should have said I already tried that :P Womble - are you saying just untick forced config, apply, unplug etc then tick it again? Or have I misunderstood that? I feel like I am annoying people now!
