Hi, just a few Satelite questions,
At the mo at home we have 2 Sky + boxes running on a multi LNB, and as I want to get either Sky or Sky + added in my room, I will need an octo LNB, however I've searched around, and on ebay, they range from about £20 delivered to £90 delivered! I know they say you get what you pay for, but is the £90 really justified in this case against something like this: BRAND NEW 8 WAY OCTO LNB FOR SKY+/FREESAT/HD/SKYPLUS on eBay, also, LNBs, Satellite Cable Freeview, Consumer Electronics (end time 25-Dec-08 18:28:50 GMT) Also, are these as easy to fit as it says in the advert? Also, I've got a deal with a poster on another forum to purchase his Sky Box, however, if I wanted to get multiroom added onto this box at home, would Sky raise eyebrows with me having this box, which wasn't originally supplied by Sky to me? As I'm guessing they will need details of the box in order for them to have the Sports channels locked to this box Thanks in advance for any replies |

Assuming you have an elliptical dish its fine.
Sky wont say anything, they will quite happily take another tenner a month off you for the extra multiroom sub.

Sky dishes are elliptical and require a 'sky' lnb. This is designed specifically for the elliptical shape. A standard lnb will not perform as well on this type of dish and shouldn't be used.

Look here for possible supply. Southernsatellite may be able to help.
