Hi,

I downloaded the fix for the starview 2 box form the chatterbox toolbar

after uploading the software to the box nothing is displayed on the box when i connect it up and connect the cable lead.

All I see is a "0" on the LCD screen of the box

I have tried to reflash the box using old software but i cant seem to access the box anymore ie when i hit download after selecting an old BIn file the download percentage doesnt move and an error comes up saying the box cant be assessed

Can you help , has the box been flashed with a virus or some sort of blocking software?

are you on v4.54 before loading new flash, if not worth a try, it worked for me

Factory reset first then make sure you put the logo bin file onto your box first, then the newest 8.02e file for The Box 2

Thanks for the advice guys - been busy the last couple of days so not had a chance to address this issue.

I did read on another post that when you see a "0" on the front of the display its an electrical fault that requires a capacitor replacing....

I'll try what you've suggested and then if not will have to look into this further.

I VE JUST PUT THE LATEST FIRMWARE IN THEBOX 2 ,SCANNED CHANNELS, SWITCHED THE EMU ON BUT NOW IT JUST SAYS DATA UPDATING GOES FROM 0% TO 130% FLASHES TO A CHANNEL THEN STRAIGHT BACK TO 0% AN STARTS ALL OVER AGAIN HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP PLEASE

you need 454 first for 802 to work

In your 1570 menu, did you press "set default key" before you exited and went to a $ channel??
