I don't know much about all the tec stuff but from reading one or two things on here are Verim Med going to change the signal so that someone like myself won't be able to watch owt

on my EX5000PVR and would i be right in thinking this new signal is called

NAG3

Can't our

men in black

crack the code as they have in the past and does anyone know when Vermin will start this action thanks

Wait until 25 /12 is the rumour for next VM rolling encryption trick - me I don't care as already planned my 25/12 as it is my bruvs birthday that day and know wife has bought a case of vintage champagne for him. Telly will seem irrelevant

Nagravision 3 encryption is already used by many foreign packages in the satellite world. Some have been using it for over a year - and it remains uncompromised.

as posted above its being used in satellite and so far no crack out
its wait see if it happens those of us with orig boxes will get new cards so we will know then.

UPC ireland are changing cards now. A couple of months and it should all be done. Then they will turn to n3 and all box's every one will go black. Linux box's may have a work round via sharing but its not so simple.

When its proved that n3 is secure you can bet virgin will also go in the uk. As stated above n3 has been in use for over a year on satellite and no hacks avaialble at all. So get ready for it.

no such thing as an unhackable code..we just need 2 b patient..thing is about codes+computing in general is that its humans that create it, there is no such thing as a 100% infallable, hackproof system in the world, and until computers can build themselves with their own code, its cat and mouse between our men in black and the likes of VM..good thing is hackers love a challenge+as soon as N3 is widespread, we'll have our boxes up+running again once they crack it..ive got a feelin our eurovox's will just need a reflash once N3 is uk wide but as some channels will be in HD we will just have 2 wait+see..new cards r all thats needed 4 subbed boxes so a reflash might hopefully b all we need 4 ours..
