open modem
have pcb facing upwards and leds towards you, on the far right there should be a sticker on a chip, take sticker off and look at text for brand of the flash chip. post that here. |

MX is fine, some webstars use spansion chips, which is completely incompatible with haxorware.
try doing a reset factory defaults, then setting it up, see if that helps. also, which version of haxorware are you running? |

haven't got a clue which version of haxorware i'm running i had it off a friend, i can find out, i'm doing this for someone who is not technical at all, and the internet is running fine i'm afraid i'll have to go round every time the modem is rebooted just to get it back online

ok so mx chip, haxorware doesn't tell you anything in the top corner, rebooted today and it came back on no problem its very random. i've rebooted about 10 times now and i'm not getting any limited or no connectivity, just connecting straight away. well if it aint broke and all that, i'll see how it goes and keep you posted. thanks Bad_Ad84 Last edited by rb2000; 18-12-08 at 01:22 PM. |

sound like you are running a very old version, you should update to 1.0rc6, there have been alot of fixes since the version you are using.
