Hi guys,

I was thinking of getting a V+ HD box and modding it. Will this be worthwhile with nagra3 likely to be coming into play within the next 6-12 months?

If not, what other boxes would be best (i.e. most likely to tackle nagra 3 encrypt!on)?

Itgates apparently will tackle nagra 3 with a software update.

Basically yes itgates are like dboxes(so flashing should be the same I think), they're both linux boxes.But the hardware is different-I dont think dboxes will survive. I have no idea how to flash them but I do have a couple of guides if interested just PM me

right i know frik all about this nagra3 business ect but as far as i know it aint be hacked yet,if true then why will one of these itgate boxes be able to tackle it,or is it hacked ? im getting confused now lol

So am I right in thinking that dboxes will definitely NOT support nagra 3 but itgates might?

It's just that I'm thinking of getting either a V+ HD (modded), a dbox2 or an itgates box. I'm just a bit confused as to which box I should get but from what you're saying and what I've read so far, the itgates seems like the best option...
