thats just what i was thinking gaz, he must have talkback blocker .fitted...but it wasent on cable feed going into the box for sure i now that because i un screwed it ...it must b on the other end on the feed that coms in to his house ..i will have look . coz its a strange 1 this .....i deff know the light was flashing when it was @ his house & return path was off, then my house all opposite ???? will check & let u know ...............if thers godda be a blocker on it.

it does disable talkback. the tuner that sticks out of the box handles all the return path and the modem (that used to be used for the internet in some areas) and the track that cuts off the talkback enters this tuner, so if you use the other tuner you have bypassed the track that would have been cut annyway so no talkback.this info is only usefull if the rear f con input has been damaged.

ahhhhh BIG THANKS RAWSY MATE! i know u say its only for if the "rear f con input has been damaged" but just woundering if this might help with the V+HD box, theres been alot of talk of them re-booting & peolpe puttung the blockers if different places .! hmmmmm thanks again m8 ..

not sure about the sammy v+ but i know the sa8300 v+ has its tuner fully intergrated to the mainboard and i havent seen 2 tuners in them sorry.
