Default .ts files to DVD - how?

Is there software that will allow me to transfer the .ts files made on my PVR to DVD. I can get the files on to my PC but how do change them into a format that I can burn to DVD?

Thanks in advance.

Might be wrong bt would your burning software not do that for you before writing the dvd?

I always thought I needed to convert the files to MPEG before I could burn them. I will have another go in the light of what you say. Thanks.

.TS is Transport Stream, the container file type for broadcast MPEG.
VidoeRedo can convert/edit in one swoop to .MPG.
VideoRedo TVSuite can convert/edit/Author DVD in one swoop.
It is a reasonable cost program for the purpose, and there is a trial available.
Support has been added, for the .TS files (Standard Definition) transferred (via external storage) from Humax Foxsat HDR recorders.

As I understand it (I don't have an HDR), HD recordings made in Freesat mode are DRM, but the same channel recorded in FTA mode can be transferred.

I've used video re-do and had a few problems to be honest and there are a lot more options in tmpg for bot the encoder and dvd authorer...
But each to their own

there are lots of software that will change the format such as nero 8, easy cd creator, where it becomes tricky is if you wish to make and edit you'r dvd's 2 or 3 dvd's onto the one plus menu but it is not that hard . if you are thinking of editing +authorizing try dvd lab pro, or vegas software . good luck i hope this helps.
