Default Eurovox 5000 pvr breaks up on all paid chans

Hi

I am using ex5000 and latest firmware. I have strange problem, all paid channels keep breaking and they only work between 3 AM to 6 AM properly without doing anything.
and they are worse in the evening and weekends. any idea?

I'm not an EV'er but you have to give these guys more info.

What do you mean by breaking up? (please describe in more detail)

Are you using a PC at the same time via splitter on the same feed?

When did it happen?

(it does sound like your not having problems during dead time)
So maybe your getting too much Ingress during busy periods. Faulty/damaged cable maybe or the cab maybe faulty in some way.

I'd like to see the solution to this if I'm being honest.

yes i am using pc and splitter but this is what i do at the times when it works perfectly fine on the same cable. by breaking up scramblled channels. like channels show for a coule of seconds then i see no or bad signal for a couple of seconds then back to chan and then after couple of secs back to no or bad signal.

Has it happened all of a sudden?
Or have you only just hucked it all up?

Like I say, I'm no expert but have you tried system restore and re-scan.......and/or system restore then re-flash your box again with the new firmware.

Not too sure if that would work though as it seems imo you have a cable network problem.

Still, it's worth a try for nowt.

That's why imo it could well possibly be a problem with your cable or the cab you're connected in (the latter probably).

Maybe someone on here has encountered this before and has a solution but to be honest, I don't, not off hand anyway.

I'm sorry for not being of any help mate

I hope so, because I'm interested as well lol

I do actually recall a problem like this before (in my cable days) but I cannot recall the solution.
