Default nagra 3-who will survive?

Hi, just wanting to know whether dbox 2 will survive when nagra 3 is released seeing as it is a linux box. Or would I need to get an Itgate? And am I right in thinking that when nagra 3 is released, the many Starview and Eurovox boxes that people have now will no longer work?

Nagra 3 hasnt been hacked so your dbox dreambox and other linux boxes might receive fta channels...but until n3 has been hacked no boxes will receive premium channels

From what I've read on here, Nagra 3 hasn't yet been cracked so if Virgin does change it's encryption method to nagra 3 then the only boxes that will survive will be Virgin boxes running Virgin cards.

In order to switch over, Virgin will need to issue EVERY subscriber with a new card and possibly new boxes too. Until every subscriber has their new equipment Virgin won't be able to switch over. That means at least we'll have some warning as to when the other boxes will be going down!

EDIT - beaten by Ronster! Must type quicker!

What Ive read is that linux boxes are most likely to survive. So instead of a eurovox, should I just stick with dbox 2?

Nothing will survive how can it untill its been cracked,i dont think it ever will be cracked and if it was it would never be released,to many free loaders in this game now.
